Spiced nectarines mix with subtle hints of marmalade and umami notes of white button mushrooms in the mouth, alongside ginger, toffee and apple tarte tatin flavours - it's intriguing and incredibly delicious. The Château Haut-Veyrac property, owned by the Castaing family, is located on one of the hills overlooking the village of Saint-Émilion in Saint-Étienne de Lisse. The vineyard now extends over an exceptional terroir of 9 hectares in one piece. The clay-limestone soil makes it possible to cultivate the Merlot Noir and Cabernet Franc grape varieties in the best conditions.

Chateau Lafleur Du Roy - Maison De Luze
At Lafleur du Roy they make two wines; this is the EXCELLENCE bottling, and appears to have a similar blend to the first wine. The predominant Merlot grape variety approx. (85%) is complemented by Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). The color is solid, sustained with black reflections, the bouquet is rich and complex, expressing aromas of red fruits, as well as hints of leather and undergrowth.
