Originally the banda rossa or Red Band was a mark that the founder, Giuliano Bortolomiol, put only on bottles containing the best extra dry of the year. These were the bottles that were kept for real friends, those who shared his passion for the land, tradition and good wine. Since forty years the special Prosecco di Valdobbiadene that Giuliano marked has had its own label and represents the quality of the best wines from the Bortolomiol winery.
Prunotto’s Barbera D’Alba is a lively and bright ruby red color. Vinous aromas on the nose reveals remarkable freshness and fruity notes. Pleasant flavors on the palate make it extremely easy to drink thanks to outstanding freshness. The finish is elegant and supple.
Unoaked wine with pure red fruit aromas and floral notes of rock rose and Mediterranean bush vegetation. On the palate, defined flavours of wild fruits stand out with some herbaceous notes where fennel punctuates (quite typical in Vesuvio wines).
