The winemaking process for the 2019 Collector's Cabernet Sauvignon is a testament to our commitment to quality. On October 11th, the specific block of Clone 2 Cabernet Sauvignon was carefully harvested from the estate vineyard. The grapes were gently crushed and gravity-fed into a small stainless-steel, temperature-controlled tank. Following a three-day cold soak, daily pump-overs were performed to achieve the desired flavors and extraction. After 10 days on skins, the wine was drained to finish the barrel's primary fermentation and malolactic fermentation. After secondary fermentation, the wines were racked to 100% new French oak and aged 20 months before bottling.

We have been producing Cabernet Sauvignon since 1978. Blending fruit from estate vineyards and top Napa Valley growers, this wine embodies the complexity of the valley while offering a seamless balance between fruit, oak and tannins. To add nuance, the Cabernet is blended with Merlot, yielding a wine that is approachable in its youth yet worthy of cellaring.

Château Palmer, a distinguished 3ème Cru Classé estate in Margaux, crafts wines celebrated for their richness and longevity. With 55 hectares of fine gravel and clay soils, the vineyard is biodynamically farmed, featuring Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. Alter Ego de Palmer 2021, the estate’s second wine, reveals Château Palmer’s terroir-driven artistry with a bouquet of black fruit, spice, and graphite. Supple and round, it delivers a long, silky finish, offering elegance and approachability in its youth.
